January 10: The Shell Oil Company Technical Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors enrolling in engineering or geosciences at specific universities. Texas A&M and University of Texas- Austin are included in the list. Come by the Secondary Office to pick up an application for this scholarship opportunity.
December 14, 2011: The 2012 Williamson County Republican Women's Committee offers a scholarship for senior girls. The applications are due the first week of April, 2012.
November 28, 2011: The University of Texas Austin is offering a Science and Engineering Apprenticeship Program for graduating seniors interested in mechanical, electrical, and aerospace engineering and/or physics, mathematics, and computer science. Applications can be picked up in the Secondary Office.
November 16, 2011: A+ Federal Credit Union Scholarship opportunity requirements: must be a member of A+FCU or be an immediate family member of an A+FCU member, must graduate from an accredited Texas high school, and must attend a Texas college or university. September 30, 2011: Representatives from Abilene Christian University came to the RRCA campus and visited with the juniors and some seniors. They presented the highlights of their campus and programs, and strongly encouraged students to begin scheduling campus visits and tours soon.
September, 2011: Baylor University is accepting applications for the Carr P. Collins Scholarship to potential Baylor students. The requirements are as follows: students must have a combined SAT Score of 1250 or an ACT score of 28, must be in the top quarter of their graduation class, and be a resident of Texas.
