The Speed of Gold
The TAPPS State track meet was held May 4-5, 2012 at Baylor University. RRCA would like to congratulate Tyler Severson for his gold-medal winning performance in both the 200m and 100m races! Tyler is currently a junior at RRCA and is pictured here with track coach Brad Rutherford.
Last year, Tyler also competed at the state meet and placed 2nd in the 200m and 5th in the 100m. This year he cut a second off his time in the 200m and brought home the gold in both events. Congratulations Tyler and job well done!
High School Regional Track Meet
Congratulations to all our students who qualified to attend the Regional Track meet in Halletsville, Texas on April 21, 2012. Tyler Severson came away from the meet with two gold medal performances in the 100m and 200m events. We are so proud of Tyler and look forward to his upcoming trip to the State track meet at Baylor University in early May.
