RRCA ATHLETICS BOOSTER CLUB ANNOUNCES CELL PHONE FUNDRAISING PROGRAM
RRCA Athletics Booster Club is kicking off of our cell phone fundraising program. Proceeds from this collection program will benefit RRCA’s current and future Athletics Programs. RRCA will earn up to $30 per cell phone, up to $100 per smartphone, and will earn funds for every phone collected, regardless of age or condition.
RRCA Athletics Booster Club has partnered with GRC Wireless Recycling (www.grcrecycling.com), the largest grassroots cell phone recycler in the United States. GRC currently works with over 6000 organizations in 50 states and has contributed over $8,000,000 to participating organizations.
Cell phone collection will take place from January 17 through February 1. Students are encouraged to bring in used cell phones to their homeroom classrooms. The class collecting the most cell phones will receive a Donut Party at the end of the fundraising period. Individual Prizes will also be given to the top Elementary and Secondary collectors in the form of $25 Target and iTunes gift cards. There will also be a drop box located in RRCA’s front office.
