RRCA Fundraising Events

RRCA Spring Event

In past years, RRCA has had a spring Gala--a beautiful evening of dining, entertainment, and an auction to benefit RRCA.  For the last two years, we have had an amazing Spring Show Dinner Theatre with productions including Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, and Alice in Wonderland.  Middle school and high school students enjoy being part of these productions, which have been a great success!  Corporate and individual sponsors help underwrite the annual spring event, which raises funds for the Building Future Leaders campaign.

Jog-a-Thon

Preschool and Elementary students “race” to see which homeroom can raise the most funds to support RRCA!   This event is a fun day for students to jog/run with their classmates and compete for some individual prizes as well.    Students who raise funds get to shop at Crusadermart and those who reach $300 get to attend a special event/party!   The overall school fundraising goal for this even is $75,000.

Middle School Spring Event

Students in 6th-8th grades participate in the Kickin’ It Crudaser Style Kickball Tournament which helps raise funds for RRCA! Students play against each other on teams and their teachers serve as kickball coaches! Champions get their name on the Kickball Trophy and receive additional prizes for coming out on top! This event is very competitive and the rivalry ramps up as each team is challenged to raise $2,500 with an overall event goal of $20,000.

High School Spring Event

High school students participate in the infamous CRUSADERBALL Dodgeball Tournament fundraiser each spring with a goal of raising $20,000! This past year, we added a twist to the event and paired trivia with the classic game of dodgeball. What we created was CrusaderBall with a Twist and the students had a blast. Dodgeball drafts are held where student captains choose teams fairly and once formed; they pick a fun name, design a team t-shirt and compete against their high school classmates for a full afternoon. Students fundraise for “jailbreak” cards which help them gain advantages over other teams when competing. CrusaderBall is a hit with high school students and help them become involved in the fundraising process.

Community Events

RRCA has held different Community Events throughout the years such as Volley to Serve tournaments, Movie Nights with RRCA Families, CrusaderFest Fall Festivals, RRCA’s Got Talent, Family Spirit Nights at local restaurants, plus more. Be on the lookout for more information about upcoming RRCA Community Events for this school year!
