VARSITY CHEER TEAM

The Varsity Cheerleaders play an active role in supporting many of the athletic teams at RRCA.  This team goes through a tryout process each spring, attends camp each summer and practices extensively throughout the year in preparation for cheering at athletic events, putting on amazing pep rallies for the student body and competing at the annual TAPPS STATE Championships. The Varsity Cheerleaders hold a very special camp for younger elementary students to promote school spirit and pride in the fall. It is a huge hit for students in K-5th grades. The Lil’ Crusader Cheerleaders have enjoyed being part of the fun and have performed at some of the varsity football games and pep rallies. In addition, the Varsity Cheer team enjoys serving their school community whenever the need arises . It is their goal as a team to have a tremendous work ethic, be competitive on the mat and sidelines as well as serve Christ daily.

The Varsity Cheer team is coached by Brandy Johnson.

MIDDLE SCHOOL CHEER TEAM

The Middle School Cheerleaders also play an active role in supporting many of the middle school athletic teams at RRCA.  This team attends camp each summer and practices throughout the fall in preparation for cheering at home athletic events and performing in pep rallies. The Middle School Cheer Team is a great place to start learning about the world of cheer. It has a minimal commitment level compared to varsity sports and allows students with multiple interests to be a part of something new while enjoying other sports and activities at RRCA.

The MS Cheer team is coached by Jamie Salik.
