THE DANCE CRU

The Dance Cru (TDC) is made up of high school students in 9^th -12^th grades who love to dance. TDC performs year-round, focusing on numerous dance genres including jazz, contemporary, Broadway, pom, lyrical and hip hop. They attend National Dance Association’s Summer Intensive Camp to prepare for performances at pep rallies and varsity football games held in the fall. The dance team competes at the state level through TAPPS and has either won State or been State Runner Up all three years that the team has been in existence. TDC performs at select basketball games and will wrap up their season performing for the RRCA Christmas Stroll, The Austin Spurs and select members of the team will perform in our annual Spring Show in May. The team prides itself on a family atmosphere, a strong work-ethic, and a positive team emphasis.

The Dance Cru is directed by Brandy Johnson.
